Many couples are only considering spring, summer and autumn as an option for their wedding, however, winter and especially Christmas can be an extremely beautiful and romantic time of year.
A great point for making your wedding ceremony around Christmas is that you will probably be the only one having your wedding at this time of year furthermore family and friends are already gathering for the holidays anyway, so you will be sure that they are already available and in party mood.

For the dress as its winter and lower temperatures the brides tend to wear longer wedding gowns and maybe even sleeves, which could be embroidered. And why not add a small coat or capelet to keep you warm. Use a small snowflake brooch to close the capelet and fulfill the winter theme.
