Following on from our first post on Creative DIY Wedding Ideas, today we are looking at simple ways to serve food and drink and liven up the tables at weddings and events. Random tea cups and saucers can be obtained at flea markets and in antique shops. Mix and match and you have a very colourful set up when serving cake and coffee and they brighten up the tables wonderfully!
All you need to create these beautiful water bottles is sack, lace, bottles, glue, pearls, buttons and small decoration items like tiny butterflies! Keep them after the wedding and use them in your home!
Ask family and friends to save their jam and pickle jars, here used to serve Pimms but why not Sangria?
Forget simple white tablecloths and spice up your tables with a simple runner made of sack and lace, easy and elegant!
