TANIYA & JAMES Travelling down from Britain, we celebrated Taniya and James’s wedding at one of the hidden gems of churches in Barcelona – Santa Anna. Perfectly hidden away, with an interior that leaves you breathless. The ceremony was conducted with a Spanish Priest and a Keralite Priest brought by the couple. As Taniya is of Indian origin they incorporated various elements from Indian wedding traditions. The evening before the wedding they held a pre-wedding dinner where they surprised their guests with traditional Indian dance. The reception held at a traditional Catalan masia, a short ride outside Barcelona, and with some Cuban rhythms during the aperitif. And who can forget the spectacular first dance on the disco floor, with a combination of not one, not two, but three songs and styles! This wedding will certainly be remembered for a long time… Providers at this wedding: Venue and Catering: Masia Mas Coll Church: Santa Anna, Barcelona Photographer: Anastasiya Kotelnyk Videographer: Dmitry Komarenko Beauty: Teresa Snowball & Co Flowers: in-house and Flors Bertran Live Music: Calle Habana […]
SARA & PETE The celebration of Sara & Pete sure was a case of “all good things come to those who wait”… Sara is Catalan, and Pete is American-Vietnamese, living in Texas, decided to celebrate their wedding in Barcelona. Their wedding was initially planned for 2020 had to be postponed not only once, but twice! Firstly due to a very famous global pandemic, but secondly, due to a more pleasant surprise, as a baby boy joined the family in 2021. Finally, the wedding was held last summer in a traditional Catalan Masia located just 20 minutes north of Barcelona. We especially loved the red nuances on the flowers and the bridesmaids’ dresses Providers at this wedding: Venue and Catering: Masia Mas Coll Celebrant: JoanRa Pla Photographer: Larysa Charnakal Beauty: Pinupsandpimps and WeMakeupYourDay Flowers: in-house and Vidiella Flors Video: Luis Carreras […]
STACEY & SCOTT Rustic countryside wedding with natural Mediterranean elements – wood, olive branches and lavender in the bouquet and centrepieces… – we even had olive leaves thrown at the end of the ceremony! Our talented friend Santiago, played traditional Spanish guitar during the ceremony and the aperitif. The flowing hills and traditional Catalan Masia that is Casa Felix were just perfect for this adorable couple… Scott chose to go barefoot after dinner (who wouldn’t?!) and Stacey’s infatuating smile made this wedding very special indeed..
