Travelling down from Britain, we celebrated Taniya and James’s wedding at one of the hidden gems of churches in Barcelona – Santa Anna. Perfectly hidden away, with an interior that leaves you breathless.

The ceremony was conducted with a Spanish Priest and a Keralite Priest brought by the couple. As Taniya is of Indian origin they incorporated various elements from Indian wedding traditions. The evening before the wedding they held a pre-wedding dinner where they surprised their guests with traditional Indian dance.

The reception held at a traditional Catalan masia, a short ride outside Barcelona, and with some Cuban rhythms during the aperitif. And who can forget the spectacular first dance on the disco floor, with a combination of not one, not two, but three songs and styles!

This wedding will certainly be remembered for a long time…
