Tebrikler ve gelecek için en iyisi-means „Congratulations and all the best for the future” to our first Turkish couple Ece & Cevdet.
With E & C we welcomed our first Turkish couple and their family and friends in Barcelona this year. Anyone who thinks Turkish weddings are always pompous is wrong! E & C celebrated their great day on the 27th of April with 30 guests.
First station: Petit Palace Barcelona
When our team and the florist arrived at the hotel, there was a big crowd in the bride’s room. In addition to a few glasses of cava for reassurance and a few snacks, Ece was styled for her big moment. Everyone wanted a look at the dress and everyone wanted a photo with the bride.
Only family and close friends were invited to come to Barcelona for the ceremony in the Turkish consulate. But the guests posted on social media, so that those who stayed at home could follow.
After the florist handed over the bridal bouquet and Cevdet had seen his beautiful bride, the bridal couple and the wedding party made their way to the Turkish consulate. They walked through the streets of Barcelona and the people on the streets cheered and clapped. Well it’s not an everyday scene.
Second station: Turkish consulate
The ceremony was at the Turkish consulate. This is not the most romantic of places, but in the end it all depends on the people celebrating with you. In an office in the consulate E & C became wife and husband under the eyes of their family and friends.
After a rain of rice, congratulations and the obligatory group photos, the company started moving again to the third station.
Third station: Piscolabis at Rambla Catalunya
In the typical Spanish restaurant, the couple toasted with their guests and thanked them for making their way to Barcelona to celebrate with them.
Fourth station: Cullera de Boix
After a little break and time to change outfits the guests came to Cullera de Boix for the wedding dinner in a relaxed atmosphere with good food and drinks.
Fifth station: Rooftop terrace of Almanac
The last stop was for the young generation and those who still feel young. For a few drinks they went to a rooftop terrace, which is typical of Barcelona and a cool location with great views and delicious cocktails.
