Tuesday Aleksandra and I visited Can Martri together with Esperanca from Vidiella Flors and her daughter Elna.
The sisters Marta and Nuria welcomed us to their family owned restaurant, which has been going strong sine 1866.
Can Martri has its own shop which produces and sells cold cuts and meats to the Maresme region. They are famous for their wonderful sausages, they even have a strawberry version and a calcot version of them.
Chef Ivan presented us with his wedding and celebrations menu and we were highly impressed. Unanimous favorites include, saltwater cray fish with pine nuts, seafood canneloni with caviar and an appetizer with aubergine, goats cheese and tomato compote.
All in all a lovely experience and we were happy to help this young catering company get off to a promising start!
