The welcome drink is the first impression your guests will get of your wedding, that’s why it is super important that you come up with a cool and original idea for this welcome drink, which somehow will indicate the rest of the wedding party. The welcome drink should fit the venue, the type of guests, the season and the theme of the wedding.

Re-use jars from pickles or jams and decorate them nicely with some ribbon. Fill them with a colourful drink (cocktail or lemonade) and serve with a fun straw and a slice of lemon.
It is a fact that many men much rather fancy a beer over a colourful drink. However, beer bottles can be really difficult to fit in, but look here: we love the idea of putting them in an old rusty wheelbarrow with crushed ice. Ideal for a rustic garden wedding.
Also soft drink bottles can ruin a nice decor but don’t worry look how much a retro straw and a small ribbon can change the look.
