Getting to Barcelona is quite easy and affordable. Low cost airlines fly to Barcelona and Girona and transfer from the airport can be arranged and a taxi to the centre is 30 to 35 Euros. There is also the option to take car or train from the UK, and the ferry is another mode of transportation. This may come in handy if you would like to continue with a honeymoon in Spain or if you are staying at a villa in the countryside and want to explore Barcelona.
Now, when in Barcelona, bus tours are a great way to get around on and see the sights. The metro is fast and efficient and the Renfe Rodalies is well connected, take a direct train to Port Aventura,Figueres Dali centre, Cava tasting Freixenet, Torres winery. Taking the Funicular to Tibidabo is only for the dare devils, Wuthering Heights indeed!
How to get to church or venue and back? There are lots of options from the traditional to new, green and exciting ones!
BIKE
A Trixi bike for two cost 35 Euros for example from Santa Maria del Mar church to Hotel Neri like Shannon & Joe choose.
Why not take an electric Tuk tuk for three? It costs 45 Euros for an hour and has room for your photographer as well! at the Big Bang Barcelona the participants will go on a tour around the old town in these!
Both these two options are easier to park than a wedding car at Sagrada Familia!
Walking is also an option if you are staying close to venue or church. Clemmie & Dale will have a trail of yellow ribbons for their guests to follow from Santa Anna to their hotel venue.
CAR
You can get any wedding car you would like in this town! From Mini to Limo, Old timer to the newest Rolls Royce phantom. Budget and preferences rule your personal choice.
BUSES
Buses range from mini buses to 65 seaters. We only work with approved, tested, reliable providers who will show up on time, be flexible and with guarantee that drivers do not gate crash the party. Helen & Damian had 120 guests thus two 65-seaters and the route was 45 mins to sant Pere de Clara and they decided on two trips back at different times. Their cost was 1300 Euros
The mini bus Shavana & Justin took cost 240 Euros with 18 seater to Sentroma, 30 mins from Barcelona centre and back.
BOAT
Barcelona is a jewel in the Med and why not experience it from the sea as well? A get together with an Orsom catamaran cruise will cost you 2000 Euros.
Renting a small yacht from el Masnou port can be as little as 300 Euros and you get to stay the night moored on the gorgeous Costa Brava.
If there are elderly people or children amongst your guests we are pleased t advice and come up with good solutions. Note that taxis do not have car seats or booster seats generally unless you pre-book. We have several to lend you.
