No we didn’t have the honor of arranging the Crown Princess of Sweden’s wedding but our couple was just as glamorous in our opinion!Victoria and Daniel wanted a stylish, elegant but simple city wedding. Their theme was nautical as the couple love sailing and have boat called Estelle (just like the little Swedish princess!) The bride’s maids wore dark blue gowns and their customized cake made by Bettina from Betty’s Bakery was adorned with anchors in tune with the theme. Touches of gold were added for glamour!
The bride’s bouquet had baby’s breath with sprig details lace and gold ribbon, Daniel’s button hole matched brilliantly and the decoration was all on gold and white. Priest Mikael Jonsson flew in from Mallorca to preside over the ceremony which was held on the roof terrace of Hotel Neri situated in one of the small, narrow, winding alleys in Barrio Gotico. Head waiter Carles and his team then served chilled Cava and he and one of the guests sported the finest facial hair we’ve seen this year!
The Reception was held on the Sant Felip Neri square with more Cava, coffee and cake and the bride’s maids conducted typical Swedish games which we will give you more interesting details on in an up-coming post about traditions from around the world. The newlyweds and their guests then moved on to Victoria’s favourite restaurant My Way where they were served Mediterranean fusion cuisine in a metropolitan atmosphere. Our warmest congratulations once more to our glam couple and thank you for letting us be a part of your gorgeous wedding!
